Brady's story begins in Nashville, Tennessee. The oldest of four, Brady grew up with a younger brother, sister, and stepbrother.  A lifelong athlete, Brady excelled in wrestling, football, and rugby after playing youth soccer and baseball. He began working at the age of sixteen. These experiences fostered his belief in teamwork and progress through unity. 

 

As a McNair Scholar at Middle Tennessee State University, Brady excelled in anthropology, political science, and history and served on the Forensic Anthropology Search and Recovery Team, aiding law enforcement. He then attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he developed a deep appreciation for the state's people, history, and culture, earning service and research awards. His work at USM included archaeological research, academic publications, and forensics. His experience led to his hiring by the Chickasaw Nation to lead their Homeland Affairs program, resulting in his move to Tupelo, Mississippi.

 

In Tupelo, Brady and his wife quickly integrated into the community. Professionally, he focused on cultural and natural resource management, public outreach, and education.  In 2019, he became CEO of the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation, leading the $60 million Chickasaw Heritage Center project in Tupelo. Recognized for his leadership, Brady is a two-time finalist for the Tupelo Daily Journal’s top 40 under 40, a Rotarian, and serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Mississippi, Link Centre, Heale Counseling, and the Mississippi Hills Heritage Area Alliance among others. 

 

Brady lives in Tupelo, Mississippi, with his wife, Cristina, an educator who received the Distinguished Teachers Award and was named Tupelo Public School District teacher of the year in 2024. They have two children who attend Tupelo Public Schools and love rescuing and caring for animals. 

 

Brady's experiences have led him to take a common-sense, fact-based yet compassionate problem-solving approach. Ultimately, Brady embodies the principles of a servant leader, firmly believing in the power of teamwork and unity to achieve success.
